I've been noticing that for 2013, with the humid, wet year we had, it's been wafting up to Morrisville more often than not. I used to smell it maybe twice a year. It's now more than twice a week. I came on this thread searching for why and what's going on, as even now in 2014, and winter at that, the smell has been following me to work in Princeton (or is it just staying in my nose?). I cant stand to go to the train station anymore. I read GROWS is only permitted through 2014, and Tullytown was only through 2013.... but guess it's been extended? I can find nothing current on this, and I'm becoming a hermit. I can't imagine living closer to it, or worse, in jersey!

We are in the same boat, Greg. House fire, where they were promptly on the scene, they were advanced a lot of money to start the project, worked a few weeks, then abandoned the project, taking the money for which they cannot account for (not used for our house). No communication and when there was, we were given false promises, which never transpired. Currently have no habitable house and no money.......They do lots of advertising on 24/7 emergency service, which catches consumers when they are most vulnerable. We need to expose this outfit for their deceptive business practices, before anyone else gets hurt..

Holly hill near the sal, been smelling it a lot! The look don't bother me so much, but the smell....disgusting! And these random days with a million seagulls flying all over, I'm guessing it's from the landfill...maybe we could get a petition going to solve this before it gets worse? At least they get 6000 to deal with it in tullytown, we should be getting something as well.

This is an awesome post. I particularly enjoyed reading about the design contest and how the Ranchers could be customized. My parents' first home was a Levittown-style Rancher (design 3) in a similar neighborhood in Old Bridge, NJ, built in 1956. My dad finished the knotty-pine attic to be a workshop and pool/rec room. It truly was their dream home.

Greg, or anyone else ripped off by Hammertime, please file a complaint with the PA Consumer Protection Agency. They are trying to identify victims of this company's scams to build a stronger case.
